Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician Position Overview A fast?paced food production facility in Tracy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is safety?focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a high?volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, packaging equipment, and facility systems Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Complete repairs in a timely manner to reduce operational downtime Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Follow all safety protocols, GMPs, and facility standards Collaborate with production teams to identify equipment needs and performance issues Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed Qualifications 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing, food processing, or a similar industrial environment Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial equipment Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Experience with PLCs is a plus Ability to work in cold environments and fast?paced production settings Strong problem?solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or varied shifts as needed Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr. TBD - still qualifying company benefits. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Tracy,CA.
