You deserve a job you love! Volt is currently looking for a Quality Control Technician/Lab Technician in Stockton, CA. As a QC Tech / Lab Tech, you will: Inspect the quality of the product and take samples to the lab. Document processes and work with the Lab and quality control team. Conduct routine chemistry analyses and physical measurements, including, but not limited to, BX, pH, viscosity and color. Report to and support the Laboratory Manager with laboratory activities and operations. Must understand physical and chemical analytical methods and equipment (food product or food ingredient testing desirable) Perform analytical measurements on samples, log and report results, collect, analyze, and interpret lab results, as well as general lab, equipment, and supplies maintenance and coordination. This is a Full Time Temp to Hire Opportunity! Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 am-3:30 pm Sat OT as needed. The Ideal candidate will have: Perform physical work as needed. Must have laboratory experience. Inspect the product. Work overtime as needed, especially during the busy season. Be flexible to work Monday ? Saturday, 40 hrs. a week. Have basic computer skills. Have good organizational skills. Have a high level of attention to detail. Have the ability to multitask. Have a valid Driver's license. Be able to lift 50 lbs. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Pay Rate: $ 18.00 hr. - $21.00 hr.
