Summary: We are seeking a Director of Digital and Patient Lead to
join our IDEAYA Commercial team. The Digital and Patient Experience
Lead will be reporting to the VP Marketing and Commercial Strategy
and will shape and execute the digital, omnichannel, and patient
engagement strategy for Darovasertib, IDEAYA’s first-in-class
precision oncology therapy in uveal melanoma. This role connects
digital innovation, brand strategy, and patient-centered marketing
to create an integrated ecosystem that enhances awareness,
education, and experience for both patients and healthcare
professionals (HCPs). The focus is on driving digital excellence,
supporting launch readiness, and ensuring every digital interaction
reflects empathy, science, and impact. Reporting to: Vice President
of Marketing and Commercial Strategy Job Description What you’ll
do: Digital Strategy and Execution: Lead the omnichannel strategy
for Darovasertib, integrating personal and non-personal promotion
to deliver a seamless HCP and patient experience. Oversee digital
channels and content including website, social media, CRM, SEO/SEM,
email, and paid media. Collaborate across functions to align
digital initiatives with brand strategy and ensure consistency
across platforms. Partner with IT, Analytics, and external agencies
to measure, optimize, and report on digital performance. Identify
and apply emerging technologies to drive disease/brand awareness,
enhance engagement, and deliver impact for patients. Strengthen
IDEAYA’s digital presence across congresses, social platforms, and
thought-leadership channels. Patient Experience & Marketing
Leadership Support the Brand Lead to map and optimize the patient
journey, identifying needs, barriers, and opportunities from
diagnosis through metastatic disease. Collaborate with Patient
Services, Advocacy, and Market Access teams to ensure patient
insights inform strategy and communication. Develop educational and
adherence tools (digital and print) that empower patients and
caregivers, aligned with regulatory requirements. Partner with
advocacy and clinical stakeholders to ensure communications reflect
real-world patient experiences and unmet needs. Use data,
analytics, and social listening to refine and evolve patient
engagement programs. Travel: ~20% Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 8 years
of pharmaceutical or biotech experience with focus in digital
marketing, omnichannel engagement, or patient marketing. Proven
experience leading digital and content strategy across web, email,
social, and paid media channels. Demonstrated understanding of
oncology or rare disease patient journeys, including diagnostic,
treatment, and survivorship phases. Strong grasp of the
Medical-Legal-Regulatory (MLR) review process for digital and
promotional materials. Experience managing agencies, budgets, and
timelines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills with a collaborative, cross-functional
mindset. Experience developing and executing patient education
campaigns and digital engagement initiatives. Familiarity with CRM
platforms, content management systems, and data analytics tools.
Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent) preferred. Experience in
launch preparation and post-launch optimization for oncology or
specialty products. Strategic thinker with a strong patient-first
mindset. Creative problem solver with the ability to balance
innovation and compliance. Strong program management and
stakeholder communication skills. Comfortable working in a
matrixed, cross-functional, and fast-evolving launch environment.

programs. The expected salary range for the role is $235,000 and
$291,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will
depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to
the office location where this open position is located, the final
candidates’ experience within their profession, experience in the
disease areas we are striving to make an impact in as a company,
length of time within the industry, educational background, and
performance during the interview process. The Company complies with
