What Youll Be Working On Engaging and communicating with clients Focus on preventativce care and client education Primary job functions include: Animal Restraint Blood Draws Assembly of surgical suite and instruments Venipuncture IV catheter placement, and administration of medication Monitor patient conditions during treatments, procedures or activities Perform laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment Getting and maintaining patient information Anesthesia and surgical monitoring Post surgical patient recovery Maintaining supply and equipment inventory Grow your skills with training, mentorship, and continuing education Qualifications Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology Required registered veterinary technician license in the state of California Minimum of 1-years experience working as a registered veterinary technician Minimum 2 years experience as a veterinary assistant (if not an RVT) Flexible with scheduling - must be available to work rotating weekend shifts Dental experience preferred Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization, time management, and attention to detail Whats In It For You Competitive hourly wages Flexible scheduling including part-time or full time hours No emergency or on-call hours!I RA plan with 3% match Paid time off Health insurance stipend Dental and Vision plans offered Health Savings Account (HAS or FSA )Generous pet care discount CE stipend (RVT only) Uniform expenses stipend Growth opportunities!
