Job Description Job Description Role: Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD) is seeking a qualified Assembly Lead to work in our warehouse. The Assembly Lead will direct and manage all assembly operations with responsibility for safety, output, quality, and other production-related activities. In addition to supervising the assembly workforce, this position will work closely with other departments to meet business needs. The Assembly Lead will report to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities: Oversee daily assembly and packaging operations to ensure all processes are followed Maintain assembly schedule and ensure all orders are shipped on time Maintain painting and modification schedule and ensure all orders are completed on time Track and record daily production of assembly and packaging teams Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure cabinets are assembled and packaged properly; coach team members when quality issues are discovered Communicate with KCD’s shipping department regarding order statuses and timeframes Ensure all equipment is operational, safe, and clean Communicate and cooperate with Customer Care to solve problems and ensure customer satisfaction Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in an assembly lead role in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of cabinet assembly or relevant wood working experience Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills Experience with Microsoft Office Preferred experience with NetSuite and/or RF-SMART Hours: Benefits and Compensation: KCD’s Assembly department works Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Extended hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, should be expected as needed to maintain production schedule KCD provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
