Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional Market Director, Supply Chain
Operations to oversee the entire materials management ecosystem for
a designated market. In this pivotal role, you will be primarily
responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and
overseeing the activities and personnel of the receiving,
inventory, and distribution functions across all facilities within
your market. You will be instrumental in creating and maintaining
an efficient and cost-effective materials system, ensuring that
necessary supplies are available exactly when and where theyre
needed. Beyond the day-to-day operations, you will be the
accountable supply chain leader for your market, leveraging your
expertise to build strong relationships with facility and market
executives. Youll lead and empower facility supply chain teams,
championing national strategies and driving operational excellence
to achieve critical performance targets. If youre a visionary

planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and overseeing the
activities and personnel of the receiving, inventory, and
distribution functions for a given market (multiple facilities).
This position will maintain an efficient and cost effective
materials system to ensure that necessary supplies are available at
each facility when and where they are needed. Responsible for
managing shipping and receiving, storage, distribution throughout
the given market, and for maintaining and reporting accurate
inventories. Additionally, this position is the accountable supply
chain leader for the market, responsible for owning facility and
market executive relationships. Leads facility supply chain leaders
and their teams, and leverages key relationships to deploy national
SSRM strategies across the market and achieve operational
performance targets. • Forges successful relationships with
facility and market executives to ensure clear communication
regarding SSRM Operations performance and value creation
opportunities. • Accountable for the market performance on
operational performance indicators. • Optimizes the total cost of
ownership for the supply chain including supply expense, labor, and
other operating expenses related to supply chain activity within
the market. • Ensures department complies with established standard
operating procedures, policies, quality assurance programs, safety,
environmental, and infection control policies and procedures. •
Selects, orientates, assigns, and evaluates SSRM facility
leadership. • Manages departments to national SSRM standards of
performance, making operational and personnel decisions to achieve
desired performance. • Prepares, submits, and manages performance
for facility SSRM labor budgets, in partnership with the national
SSRM team. • Promotes improvement efforts throughout the market to
streamline processes, optimize financial performance, and identify
areas of general inefficiency. • Ensures department goals and
objectives help to carry out the organizations strategic plan,
philosophy, and vision. • Provides insights and feedback into the
development of operating standards to ensure optimal leveraging of
SSRM capabilities to support market strategies / needs. The job

duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education and Experience: •
Bachelors degree in a related field required, Masters Preferred •
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a
healthcare facility system or other relevant experience • Project
Management, Operations and Analytics Experience preferred Where
