Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year A bit about us: We are working with a well-established, successful law firm based in Sacramento, CA that is seeking a Probate Paralegal to join their Trusts and Estates Practice Group! Why join us? 401(k) with company match Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Job Details The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing probate cases from initial filing to final distribution, ensuring compliance with California probate laws and court procedures. Key Responsibilities: Case Management: Oversee probate cases from start to finish, including estate administration, asset inventory, and distribution. Document Preparation: Draft petitions, pleadings, court filings, and correspondence related to probate matters. Court Filings & Deadlines: Prepare and file documents with the probate court, ensuring all deadlines are met. Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the probate process. Legal Research: Conduct research on probate laws, estate planning, and trust administration. Asset Management: Assist in identifying, valuing, and distributing estate assets. Accounting & Tax Filings: Prepare fiduciary accountings and assist with estate tax filings when necessary. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3 years of probate or estate planning experience. Education: Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred. Software Proficiency: Experience with Clio, legal case management software, Microsoft Office, and e-filing systems.
