Job Description Job Description Reno Staffing is looking for an HR Administrative Assistant for a Third Party Logistics Company in USA PARKWAY! This is a great temptohire opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career in a fastpaced, peoplefocused environment. You’ll support daily HR operations, onboarding, employee records, and engagement activities while working closely with both employees and leadership. The role offers handson experience with HR systems, exposure to warehouse operations, and the chance to build strong foundational HR skills. Shift: Day shift Pay: $25/hr! Location: USA PARKWAY Summary: A strong candidate will bring 1–2 years of HR or administrative support experience, solid communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday, comfort with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and bilingual Spanish/English abilities are preferred. A high school diploma is required, with HR or business coursework considered a plus. The role may involve supporting warehouse or logistics environments and requires the ability to sit for extended periods, walk the warehouse floor, lift up to 15 pounds, and work in nonclimatecontrolled areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. Serve as the first line of HR support for employees by addressing general questions about policies, timekeeping, and benefits. Assist with the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, supporting Day 1 logistics, and ensuring timely system updates. Maintain and update employee records in HR systems such as Workday, ensuring accuracy in job titles, schedules, and reporting lines. Submit and track Workday tasks including job changes, terminations, and personal information updates. Assist with payrollrelated tasks including timecard audits and missed punch correction forms. Coordinate with staffing agencies for temp onboarding, extensions, and terminations. Help organize and execute employee engagement initiatives such as birthdays, wellness events, and celebrations. Support incident reporting by ensuring accurate documentation is submitted and filed. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion. Provide backup support for the HR Coordinator during peak workload or time off. Assist in creating basic HR communications or job postings as directed by HR leadership. At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you could be required to perform additional job related activities not specifically outlined above. Required Skills/Abilities: 1–2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or people operations support role preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable and solutionsoriented Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines Familiarity with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday, or a strong willingness to learn within the first 30 days Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and Microsoft Office Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or coursework in HR or Business Administration preferred Prior experience supporting a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is a plus Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to walk the warehouse floor as needed Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds Comfortable working in a nonclimatecontrolled environment A resume and interview are required to be considered for this position.
