Job Description PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Fernley, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Pride Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Fernley, NV 89408. This is a 13-week contract with potential for extension. Locals and Travelers accepted! Job Responsibilities: - Administer physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. - Provide non-complex therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, heat, cold, water, and electrical modalities. - Accurately document patient status and submit all clinical paperwork in a timely manner. - Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and progress. - Apply infection control and universal precaution standards during all patient care activities. - Monitor and report equipment issues, supply needs, or changes in patient condition to supervising staff. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Participate in department in-services, staff meetings, and continuing education. - Manage scheduling and perform occasional office-related tasks. - Maintain compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies. Required Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy. - Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant. - Current CPR/BLS certification. - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant. - Home Health experience and familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred. - Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance Additional Information: - Location: Fernley, NV 89408 - Float required. - Schedule: 40 hours/week - Days - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Gross weekly: $1,886 - W2 hourly (Taxable): $16 - Stipend Weekly (Non - Taxable): $1246 - Local pay - $30 - $36/hour *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
