Role Summary: We're seeking skilled and empathetic Personal Care Assistants to join our team and positively impact our clients' lives. At Comprehensive Home Health Solutions, you'll play a vital role in enhancing individuals' independence and well-being in the comfort of their homes. Requirements and Skills: At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience Cleared through NABs in the past 6 months High school diploma or equivalent Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong communication skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team Physical capability to assist with lifting, bending, and personal care tasks Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (if required for client transportation) Responsibilities: Provide personalized care to clients according to their individual care plans Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (including catheter care) Assist with mobility and transfers to promote physical well-being Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences Understanding of various diet textures and thickened liquid consistencies Provide light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean environment for clients Monitor for fall safety hazards to prevent falls Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and other outings as required. Deliver personalized care tailored to clients' individual care plans.
