Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Modesto, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,569 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 180 days of hire), TNCC (within 180 days of hire), NIHSS (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care. Responsible for patient and family education and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family or support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications. Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience. Patient age groups include adults with a daily census of 40. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Patient management includes various conditions such as acute stroke, post-surgical recovery, and multi-system organ dysfunction. Skills required include management of dysrhythmias, ventilator management, and central line care. Emergency care skills are essential, including procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
