Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ED /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in Emergency Department with varied work schedule /n• Required certifications: NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS (TNCC preferred) /n• Current valid RN license required in state of practice /n• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required /n• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area /n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for emergency patients /n• Provide direct patient care coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities /n• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs and policy /n• Formulate discharge plans utilizing assessment data and patient/family input /n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records /n• Interact with physicians, patients, families and healthcare team members /n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs /n• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills /n• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids /n• Participate in professional development, orientation, and mentoring activities /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates as part of a comprehensive healthcare network providing emergency and acute care services to the community.
