HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/18/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel • Shift: 3x12, Nights, 1845 - 0715 • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Call Requirements: Call is not required • Licenses: NV RN license required prior to start • Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX) • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required. Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred. Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management. IMCU travelers are required to pass a ECG/Telemetry competency exam, which includes reading/interpreting rhythm strips. Unit Description: The intermediate care unit comprises of 18 beds and focuses on individuals who are experiencing severe, but usually non-life threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, moderately intensive therapies and interventions, and moderate levels of nursing vigilance. These patients encompass all types of general medical disease processes including post ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory.
