Lab Summary:Are you passionate about transforming cutting-edge

Mobile Platform Solutions (MPS), we are looking for an enthusiastic
Android Partner Engineer to share their creative vision and
contribute to building innovative applications and services for
Samsung's diverse range of devices, including mobile phones,
speakers, wearables, and more. In this role, you will join a
collaborative team, working with Samsung teams globally and
external partners to deliver best-in-class mobile products.Join the

future-forward mobile products to life!Position Summary:As a
Partner Engineer for Android and Galaxy AI, you will spearhead new
initiatives in the Mobile AI era. You will have the opportunity to
manage multiple concurrent Samsung Mobile collaborations with
strategic partners. In this role, you will work closely with
cross-functional teams within Samsung Mobile, focusing on
user-centric solutions with a commitment to continuous improvement
and learning. This role provides an excellent opportunity to
transition from a purely engineering track to a product/program
management focus.Position Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the product vision and strategy for our overall
product portfolio and services.
- Act as a Product Owner, ensuring clear product definition to
meet commercial and strategic objectives.
- Define and articulate detailed use cases, features, and
requirements for proposed features.
- Gather and formalize feedback from business teams and
technology partners.
- Validate business cases and partner readiness to prioritize
feature requests, ensuring optimal ROI.
- Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
(Engineering, Quality Assurance, Technical Program Managers,
Marketing, Customer Support) across various geographies.Required
Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related
technical field, or equivalent combination of education, training,
and experience.
- Solid understanding of AI, ML, On-Device AI, and Generative AI
technologies.
- 5+ of experience in software program management, managing
multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- 5+ of experience in software project management, including
scope management, scheduling, risk management, dependency
management, internal communication, and external communication with
partners.
- Experience across all phases of the software development
lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, software
architecture, development, test planning, test execution, and
deployment.
- Proven ability to influence project team members (technical and
non-technical) to ensure proper product requirements
prioritization, product quality, and on-time project delivery.
- Strong team player with exceptional time management and
organizational skills.
- Demonstrated market analysis skills.
- Ability to deeply understand and empathize with customer needs,
advocating for their interests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation
skills.
- Technical and business acumen to confidently advocate for and
defend positions regarding feature definition and
prioritization.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and
work independently at all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%).
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of C/C++/Java and experience building
Android applications.
- Familiarity with version control and build utilities (e.g.,
Git, Repo, Make) for platforms like GitHub and Gerrit.
- Demonstrated experience in user-focused, mobile-first services
and applications.
