Position Summary Provide support managing Central Invoice & Data
Management for Construction Management, by coordinating Corrective
Action Plans (CAPs), managing procurement workflows, supporting VM
reporting, updating dashboards, and facilitating communication
between project stakeholders. This role ensures timely follow?up,
accurate documentation, and consistent reporting to leadership.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company, in good
faith, believes it might pay for this position at the time of the
job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of
the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on
multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills,
education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value,
geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal
equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into
this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the
range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to
these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in
PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. The
hourly rate for this position ranges from $41.35 to $65.38. This
position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your
assigned location based on business needs. The headquarters
location is flexible between either Oakland or West Sacramento. Job
Responsibilities CAP Management & Reporting • Prepare and present
Active CAP Summary, Closed CAP Summary, VM CAP Issues, and VM CAP
Actions sections for recurring leadership and team meetings. •
Review upcoming CAPs and verify status updates with action owners.
• Facilitate weekly meetings to discuss CAP progress and updates. •
Maintain and organize project notes, action items, and
documentation. • Send communications and updates to stakeholders. •
Ensure contractors are prepared and present at CARB meetings. •
Capture CARB meeting notes, summarize discussions, and upload
Meeting Minutes into the EFFR CAP system. • Update Operating Review
presentation slides and provide notes. • Update Power BI reports as
needed. Resource Management Support • Handle the most complex
resource management assignments • Assist in developing and
implementing resource management changes and improvements for the
department • Assist with contractor and vendor qualifications and
training initiatives and changes, acting as the lead for Technical
Assistants, including project work as may be required Construction
Management / Supervisor Support • Act as lead in the department for
cost estimates and forecasts, analysis against plan based on
estimates, run rates, and overages. • Act as lead for monitoring
compliance with applicable policies and standards, assist with
change and improvement initiatives • Monitor that work is performed
effectively and efficiently. • Assist with implementation of new
policies, standards, and/or form changes. • Assist in identifying
business impacts of changes • Establish and maintain a database for
craft hours and OT monitoring • Provide technical support to
construction managers on highly complex projects (larger projects
may require on-site activities to set up construction management
processes) • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely construction
documentation: • Work with Records Information Management (RIM) to
ensure compliance with project documentation and retention.
Contracts • Act as team lead for contract-related efforts, changes,
and improvements • Ensure BPOs are adequately funded for planned
work • Assist management and clerks in resolving any issues
Personnel • Assist with the onboarding/offboarding and mentoring of
staff. • Implement adequate processes and controls to ensure
employees stay compliant with company standards and policies. •
Work with clerical staff to ensure compliance with company
standards and procedures. • Assist management or clerks in
identifying and resolving any compliance issues. Qualifications
Minimum: High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED
Diploma Experience in contract management, or related, 5 years CA
Class C License, or equivalent Desired: • BA or BS technical degree
• 7 years or more technical-related experience. Comprehensive
construction contracting experience, construction terminology. •
Ability to prioritize work and activities for a team • Strong
organizational skills • Multi-task documentation and communications
with multiple open projects • Strong oral and written communication
skills • Ariba, CMDB and SAP program experience • MS Access, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio experience • Process-oriented
• Demonstrated leadership skills • General gas and electric
business knowledge • General construction business knowledge
(accounting, payroll) • Primavera UNIFIER experience
